Another speculation that has been floating about this year
was the fact that 343 were going to do a Halo 2 anniversary game for the Xbox
One. This was partly true but another rumour started to circulate about a
collection for the system which would contain Halo CE, Halo 2, Halo 3 and Halo
4.
This rumour has finally come to fruition with Halo: the
Master Chief Collection which will contain all the Halo games staring the green
armoured space marine in glorious 1080p and 60fps. During the presentation they
demoed the Halo 2 multiplayer which still has the same engine and gameplay
style but with up to date graphics and like the Halo CE remake you can switch
back to classic mode to compare.
Halo Master Chief Collection is set to release at the end of
this year, so pick it up if you missed the adventures of Master Chief and get
ready for Halo 5 Guardians.
