The popular MMORPG from Blizzard will be going up in price
for you guys in UK who like to live in the World of Warcraft starting from
November 13th in time with the launch of the expansion pack Warlords of Draenor.
This announcement was sighted on the World of Warcraft
forums by the community manager discussing the new price plans if you are new
comer, and if you still retain an old payment plan you can hold on to it for
two years if there are no gaps of course.
The new payment plans are as follow, it will cost £9.99 for
30 days, £28.17 for 90 days, £52.14 for 180 days and £20.99 for the 60 day
pre-paid card.
This is a worrying move considering that the WOW subscriber
count is dropping day by day and is it relevant to have a monthly payment these
days for MMORPGs considering the Free to Play model, who knows? Only the future
will tell.
