The new trailer that Hideo Kojima has been working on for E3
did leak in the form of the Japanese version on the internet. Finally we did
get the English version and the more and more I see of the Phantom Pain the
more dark the tone and context is getting.
I know it’s about Big Boss slowly losing himself and
becoming a villain, but this is very dark for a Metal Gear Solid game by the
look of the trailers there are no corny or humorous parts to compensate for the
lows when they hit. That what was so brilliant about Metal Gear it has those
moments to disarm you so the hard hitting emotional parts catch you off guard
and you might just shed a tear. For example the ending of MGS 3, you go
throughout the game and it’s a complete cheese fest for the most part and bam! You
get hit by the ending in the graveyard.
But don’t let me throw you off MGS V because the game is
going to be superb and another great story to Big Boss’s background. No release
date has been revealed yet just a vague 2015 release window on the Xbox One,
Xbox 360, PS3 and PS4.
